Roland Molontay, researcher of the BME Department of Stochastics and team leader of the HSDSLab, has been awarded an OTKA (National Scientific Research Funding Programmes) grant by the National Research, Development and Innovation (NRDI) Office of Hungary.

Roland won in the Postdoctoral Excellence (PD) category with his application "Decision support in higher education using machine learning and econometric methods". In the words of Roland Molontay, "this research grant is a recognition for HSDSLab as a whole, as all HSDSLab staff and many students have been involved in the educational data science research projects over the past years".
