Our Latest Paper on Anomaly Detection Has Been Published in IEEE Xplore

February 9, 2026

We are pleased to announce that our latest article on the enhancement of the LODA (Lightweight Online Detector of Anomalies) algorithm has been published in the IEEE Xplore digital library. The publication followed a successful presentation by our co-author, Dániel Szalai, at the IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (ISMC 2025) in Vienna.

Our research proposes a modified version of the LODA algorithm that delivers improved performance on both benchmark and real-world sensor data. Key enhancements include smoother adaptation to "concept drift" (where data patterns change over time) and more robust anomaly detection in dynamic, streaming environments.

This work represents a valuable contribution to the field of real-time data monitoring and fault detection.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all co-authors for this excellent achievement: Dániel Szalai, Máté Baranyi, Dr. Gábor Horváth, and Dr. Roland Molontay.
