We are proud to announce that three of our laboratory's students have successfully taken their award-winning research from the national level to the international stage. Iskender Imanaliev, Azim Maksatbek Uulu, and Marcell Danka, who won 1st place at the BME Scientific Students' Association Conference (TDK) last year, have now achieved 2nd place at the 4th EELISA International Student Science Competition in Madrid.
Their project, "Echoes of Longevity: Healthy Ageing Narratives in Science, News, and Social Media," examines how the topic of healthy ageing is represented across scientific literature, news media, and social media platforms. The work was supervised by our lab director, Dr. Roland Molontay.
Congratulations to Iskender, Azim, and Marcell, as well as their supervisor, on this outstanding international achievement. We look forward with excitement to seeing what they accomplish next!
