The Faculty of Natural Sciences of BME has awarded the most prestigious prize for students, the Outstanding Student of the Faculty Award, to József Pintér from our lab.
József Pintér is the (co-)author of two prize-winning TDK theses and several publications. At the 2020 TDK conference, his paper "Algorithmic further consideration of a NSUCRYTPO 2019 competition task" (supervisor: Péter Gábor Nagy)
was awarded a commendation, his paper "Prediction of Hungarian league football match results using probabilistic and machine learning models" was awarded a commendation, and his paper
"Prediction of Hungarian league football match results using probabilistic and machine learning models" was awarded a commendation together with Attila Ragács (supervisor: Roland Molontay) was awarded
the 1st prize,
and the thesis wonthe second prize in the 2021 OTDK Innovation in Sport section. In 2021, he and his team won third place at the
NSUCRYPTO International Olympiad in Cryptography and a special prize in 2020.
