Marcell Nagy received the Gyula Kőnig Young Researcher Award

The aim of the Gyula Kőnig Young Researcher Award is to recognise and encourage the outstanding research work of doctoral students at BME's Doctoral School of Mathematics and Computer Science.

This year, the prize was awarded to Marcell Nagy, deputy head of our lab, in recognition of his outstanding scientific and R&D achievements in the field of data-driven network science and educational data science. Marcell Nagy is an active researcher, co-author of 14 publications (including 7 journal articles) and has received 138 citations, 113 of which are independent. Marcell is active in the scientific community, regularly presenting at international conferences and seminars. Marcell Nagy has been awarded several grants in recent years for his excellent work. He has been awarded the scholarship of the Cooperative Doctoral Program, the New National Excellence Program, the Hungarian State Eötvös Scholarship, and the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship, which enabled him to spend a semester at Indiana University in the United States.
