Our Lab's Researchers Share Insights on Social Big Data at Victoria University of Wellington

March 5, 2026

Recently, our colleagues, Dr. Roland Molontay and Csaba Kiss, gave a presentation at the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. The event was hosted by Dr. Markus Luczak-Roesch.

The presentation focused on one of our lab's core areas of expertise: the analysis of socially relevant big data using machine learning and network science methods. Through selected examples from HSDSLab's research portfolio, our colleagues demonstrated how these advanced computational approaches can be used to uncover hidden patterns and understand the structural dynamics of complex social systems.

The presentation was followed by an engaging discussion with a highly interested audience, which resulted in a stimulating exchange of ideas.

We are grateful to Markus for the invitation and the friendly atmosphere. We appreciate the opportunity to share our work and look forward to continued collaboration.
