HSDSLab has been enriched with new international talents: three interns have started their research work with us this semester:

🔹 Tri An Le (Wabash College) has joined us as a participant in the AIT-Budapest Research Abroad program, and is applying machine learning techniques to analyze image- and text-based memes. His research is supervised by Dr. Roland Molontay and PhD student Donát Köller.

🔹 Alexy Bounsavath (Grenoble INP - UGA) is doing his internship in our lab through the Erasmus program. His project focuses on the analysis of cryptocurrencies and smart contracts using artificial intelligence-based tools, under the supervision of PhD student Csaba Kiss and Dr. Roland Molontay.

🔹 Matteo Leopizzi (University of Urbino) has also joined the lab through the Erasmus program. For his thesis, he is investigating the identification of coordinated behavior in online troll networks using network science methods, supervised by Dr. Roland Molontay.
