Although our lab is primarily known for its research and innovation activities, a core part of our mission is also a commitment to education and curriculum development. One of the best examples of this is a flagship course of the BME Applied Mathematics MSc program, the Project Laboratory, the renewal of which our lab undertook two years ago.
Aligning with international educational trends, the course now centers around project-based learning, which allows students to deepen their theoretical knowledge by solving real-world problems. As a result, the Project Laboratory has become a prime example of effectively blending theory and practice.
Since its renewal, the course has produced numerous remarkable student success stories that reflect the participants' creativity, professional standards, and practical achievements. These projects clearly demonstrate that hands-on learning within a supportive university environment is exceptionally effective.
We are extremely proud of our students and their dedicated supervisors for their excellent work. We are convinced that this is just the beginning and that many more inspiring research results will follow in the future.
