We are pleased to share that our paper "From Beijing to Paris: Media representation and sentiment dynamics of the Olympics and Paralympics across traditional and social platforms (2008–2024)," authored by Maria Amaro and Dr. Roland Molontay, has been added to the catalogue of the Olympic World Library (OWL).

The study examines how the Olympics and Paralympics were represented across traditional and social media over five Olympic cycles, from the 2008 Beijing Games to the 2024 Paris Olympics, covering more than 140,000 pieces of content published on The New York Times, The Guardian, YouTube, and Reddit. The paper offers insights into how the media representation of and sentiment around the Olympics and Paralympics have evolved over time, and how the portrayal of the two global sporting events differs across traditional and social media.
