Breakthrough Study in Nature Communications

Two of our researchers, Dr. Marcell Nagy and Dr. Roland Molontay, participated as contributors in a landmark study led by Prof. Dr. Katy Börner (CNS – Indiana University Bloomington) and Dr. Griffin M. Weber (Harvard Medical School).

The study presents a comprehensive catalog describing 22 functional tissue units across ten human organs, including their size, vascular networks, and cellular composition. This work represents a crucial step towards the creation of the Human Reference Atlas and contributes to deepening the understanding of human physiology at the cellular level.
