Roland Molontay wrote his Bachelor thesis in 2013 with the supervision of Júlia Komjáthy and Károly Simon. Later in 2015 he bumped into his own words and thoughts in the columns of the prestigious journal, the Scientific Reports by Nature, but now authored by Chinese scientists. The plagiarism was crystal clear, yet it took the journal four years to retract it. The story was covered by the national and international press (e.g., Retraction Watch, and Global Times) as well.
