The head of our lab, Dr. Roland Molontay, recently visited South Korea as part of a delegation from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). The purpose of the visit was to strengthen educational and research ties and to explore collaboration opportunities with leading Korean universities.

The delegation visited several prestigious institutions, including Yonsei University, the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), and the University of Ulsan. At each location, the Korean partners received the BME delegation with great respect and genuine interest.

During the meetings, Roland Molontay had the opportunity to present the main research areas of HSDSLab, describing our work in the fields of data science and artificial intelligence, and discussing potential directions for joint projects.

The BME delegation was led by Attila R. Imre, and its members also included Bálint Kiss, Lajos Höfler, and Zsolt Lesetár. The visit marks an important step in expanding our lab's international network and promoting global knowledge exchange.
