The Kató Rényi Memorial Prize of the János Bolyai Mathematical Society is awarded each year to young mathematicians who have achieved outstanding, independent scientific results in a field of mathematics during their university studies.

Csaba Kiss won this recognition for his research conducted jointly with Dr. Bálint Vető, which modeled the age distribution of the world's oldest people. Their results were published in the prestigious journal Scientific Reports.

The award was presented by Prof. Dr. Péter Simon, the secretary-general of the János Bolyai Mathematical Society.
