We are pleased to announce that the head of our lab, Dr. Roland Molontay, has won the János Bolyai Research Scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

The Bolyai Scholarship is one of the most prestigious domestic grants for young researchers, designed to encourage outstanding scientific performance and independent research work.

Roland's winning project, titled “Social computing: Machine learning and network science methods applied to large-scale social data”, focuses on the data-driven understanding of social phenomena, closely aligning with our lab's research directions and approach.
