We are pleased to announce that the head of our lab, Dr. Roland Molontay, has received the certificate for the János Bolyai Research Scholarship from Zsolt Páles, chairman of the Bolyai Board of Trustees, at a ceremony held at the headquarters of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

The Bolyai Scholarship is one of the most prestigious national scientific grants, awarded to outstanding young researchers to support their independent scientific work and advance their research careers.

The title of Dr. Molontay's winning research project is: “Social computing: applying machine learning and network science methods to large-scale social data”. The aim of the project is to explore and interpret complex social phenomena through innovative, data-driven approaches.

This ceremony marks the official start of this outstanding research program.
