HSDSLab was proud to participate as an organizing partner in the implementation of the highly successful BIOMED-DATA25 Summer School and Conference, hosted by Semmelweis University. The event concluded with outstanding success and created an inspiring platform for the global biomedical data science community.
The program, which attracted more than 130 participants from four continents, consisted of a one-and-a-half-week summer school followed by a three-day conference. The event addressed a wide range of MSc and PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, physicians, healthcare data science professionals, and industrial partners.
The conference featured plenary lectures by world-renowned experts, including Dr. Katy Börner, Dr. Albert-László Barabási, Dr. Pál Maurovich-Horvat, Dr. Péter Horváth, and Dr. Kosmas Kepesidis, who presented his joint research with Nobel laureate in Physics, Dr. Ferenc Krausz.
BIOMED-DATA25 was the first major international event of the Semmelweis University's Institute of Biostatistics and Network Science, which set the direction and standard for the institute's future scientific events.
We extend our thanks to the instructors, speakers, and participants for their collaboration and professional contributions. We greatly appreciate having worked together to realize an event that served to strengthen knowledge and cooperation.
