It is with special pride and joy that we announce that our high school student researcher, Máté Bende, has been awarded the Junior Pro Scientia Gold Medal, the highest national-level award for student researchers. He received the award at the formal ceremony of the 37th National Scientific Students' Associations Conference (OTDK), where his outstanding success was highlighted by the fact that he was the only high school student among this year's laureates.
He earned this prestigious award for his outstanding research achievements, including his impressive 2nd place finish at the OTDK, where he competed against university students while still in high school. The supervisors for his TDK research project were our colleagues, József Pintér and Dr. Roland Molontay.
As the supervisor of the Pro Scientia Gold Medalist, József Pintér also received recognition at a ceremony held at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
The entire HSDSLab team extends its heartfelt congratulations to Bende for this extraordinary achievement, and to his mentors for their dedicated professional support.
