HSDSLab Showcases Innovations in Education and Knowledge Management at AI Expo 2025

September 5, 2025

Members of the HSDSLab leadership recently represented our lab at the AI Expo 2025 exhibition, where they presented our latest, state-of-the-art developments to both a professional and a wider audience.

József Pintér (PhD student) presented the student life path prediction module, which was recognized with the Best Presentation Award, developed in close collaboration with the EduDev team. This advanced artificial intelligence-based system is an excellent example of how AI can help personalize educational pathways and predict student success.

In another presentation, Csaba Kiss (PhD student) discussed our joint research with Nokia Bell Labs on the topic of “Max–Min semantic segmentation” of documents. This novel approach aims to increase the efficiency of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications and opens new horizons in the integrated application of knowledge management and artificial intelligence.

We are extremely proud of our team, which is shaping the future at the intersection of AI, education, and knowledge management with its innovative research and strong industrial collaborations.
